UN-report accuses Brazilian government not to have fulfilled commitments with indigenous peoples

After his mission through Brazil, in the period of 17th to 26th October of 2005, the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, Doudou Dièene, presented his report in the 62ª Session of the Commission of Human Rights of the UN. On the indigenous issues, the Special Rapporteur made severe critics and a series of recommendations to face the problems in the country, among them the demarcation of the indigenous areas.
